Focus on Life.
Schlepp builds premium homes in Lagos, delivered on time, on quality and on budget. We designed its first brand in 2023, when it was a young developer. By 2026 the business had grown into premium development with a family of arms, and the brand had not kept pace. We were brought back to evolve it: the strategy, the identity, and a website and a booking app we designed and built.
We did not start again. We read the name closely. To schlepp is to haul: to drag something heavy from where it is to where it needs to be. The founders named the company after the burden, then built it to take burdens away. The evolution finally says that out loud.
I · Then
2023 · Built for Better
A young developer with a bold, friendly mark: a lowercase name with a small roof over the e, Vivid Orange and Mustard with a Lavender accent, and shapes cut at the roof’s 45° angle. It was right for a company starting out.
By 2026
The properties went premium.
Ashfort, the flagship, delivered. Aura in Victoria Island, now selling. Investors following the brand from one development to the next, and every completed development handed over within four weeks of its projected date. The brand still spoke for the company Schlepp used to be.
II · The name
The name
To schlepp.
To haul: to drag something heavy from where it is to where it needs to be. The founders named the company after the burden itself.
The flip
Focus on Life.
Schlepp does the building, the delivering and the managing, so the people it builds for can focus on what matters.
The flip
Attention is extracted by design. Every choice you weigh is paid for in focus.
Your focus belongs to your life, not your assets. Wealth works in the background; you live in the foreground.
The midnight maintenance call, the artisan negotiation, the tenant chase.
Property that works so you do not have to. The asset stays an asset; it never becomes a job.
Dates move, budgets swell, and quality thins out between the brochure and the handover.
On time, on quality, on budget. Delivery as the default, not the exception.
I will rest when it is settled. But it is never settled, and the people you love learn to wait.
Presence stops being the price of prosperity.
The frame
III · The evolution
The 2026 mark is a mountain with a cut through its upper edge: permanence, opened. It grew out of the small roof that sat over the e in 2023. Orange gave way to Evergreen, and the type grew up with the business.
Still all lowercase, still friendly.
Every cut in the new mark keeps the roof’s angle.
The accent lockup still wears the 2023 roof.
IV · One promise, four altitudes
The Nook gives you your trip back. Dwelling gives you your day back. Loadways gives you ownership without the upkeep. Schlepp carries it all, for a lifetime.
A lifetime
V · In the world, and built
Evergreen hoardings, a wax seal on every handover pack, and a PropertyCard for each owner. Then the parts people use every day.
In the world
Hoardings, posters and social lead with one idea and let the buildings speak. After handover, the PropertyCard, the seal and the things people keep carry the mark.

Built
We designed and built schlepp.properties and the CMS behind it, so the team manages every development, enquiry and journal post themselves. The Nook got its own booking app with live availability and checkout. Its full story is the next case study.

Ashfort
Studios and apartments in Lekki, crowned by a rooftop infinity pool. Our flagship, delivered.

Aura
A quieter kind of address in Victoria Island. Drawn, rendered, and coming next.

Coming soon · Dwelling
Dwelling is the residents’ app: daily living, one tap away. We designed it years ago, and now we’re rebuilding it from the ground up. We’re glad to be Schlepp’s engineering partner.
Coming soonThe developments
Seven developments across Lagos, from Lekki to Ikare. A brand is only as good as the buildings behind it.
